More Wisdom...
This is a home remedy for leg cramps (not for everyone, but its quick and works sometimes better than meds.)
Two bicyclists rode their bikes until they both developed leg cramps. One walked it off and was in pain for a while. The other guys was given pickle juice to drink and his leg cramp went was gone right away. They gave other examples, but I thought this might help if you get a cramp and you want it to go away fast.

It's the shoes!! It's the shoes!!
Last night was a great night. Our usual "Girls Night Out" is dinner, a few drinks and home. Last night we did the same and then went bowling!! Such fun!! We didn't care if we got the strikes or spares, we just had fun.
Here is the listing of our scores by person...
radiator 75 - 69 - 79
STFD 117 - 74 - 91
Hambone 107 - 82
Mud Puck 63 - 49 - 84
Injuries - sore muscles...maybe a little sore ego...and one of us completely lost it on the alley....hm.....who could that be?

Week 1
Well it sounds like things are going well for our first (and some second) week of diet. Kudos to Naughty Monkey....WOW...Six pounds!! Awesome!
Sometimes we have good days...sometimes bad! We just keep plugging away. If you didn't lose your personal goal for the week....hang in there. Remember...we CAN do this. Personally when one of my family members or the kids in school tempt me with something that's a 'no-no' I have found it really almost easy to say "nope"...maybe eventually they will quit the torture.
Tonight, it's bowling. Maybe this isn't like running a marathon, but it has to be good for us to get out there and MOVE. I am too much a couch potato. Maybe not in front of the tv, but I can sit in my studio and 'play'. Might just as well be watching Two and a half men!! NOT!
Together we can do it!!

Another tip
Think of the most important thing in your life, the thing that makes you the most happy.
Take a picture of that (like your kids) and tape it in the back of your refrigerator. You should never have to much stuff in the refrigerator that you can't see your picture. If you can't, then you are over shopping and over eating.

Bank Account
This is from MudPuck....I love it!!!
This is AWESOME ... something we should all remember.
A 92-year-old, petite, well-poised and proud man, who is fully dressed each morning by eight o'clock, with his hair fashionably combed and shaved perfectly, even though he is legally blind, moved to a nursing home today.
His wife of 70 years recently passed away, making the move necessary. After many hours of waiting patiently in the lobby of the nursing home, he smiled sweetly when told his room was ready.
As he maneuvered his walker to the elevator, I provided a visual description of his tiny room, including the eyelet sheets that had been hung on his window. I love it,' he stated with the enthusiasm of an eight-year-old having just been presented with a new puppy.
Mr. Jones, you haven't seen the room; just wait.'
'That doesn't have anything to do with it,' he replied.
Happiness is something you decide on ahead of time.
Whether I like my room or not doesn't depend on how the furniture is arranged ... it's how I arrange my mind. I already decided to love it. 'It's a decision I make every morning when I wake up. I have a choice; I can spend the day in bed recounting the difficulty I have with the parts of my body that no longer work, or get out of bed and be thankful for the ones that do.
Each day is a gift, and as long as my eyes open, I'll focus on the new day and all the happy memories I've stored away.. Just for this time in my life.
Old age is like a bank account. You withdraw from what you've put in.
So, my advice to you would be to deposit a lot of happiness in the bank account of memories!
Thank you for your part in filling my Memory Bank. I am still depositing.
'Remember the five simple rules to be happy:
1. Free your heart from hatred.
2. Free your mind from worries.
3. Live simply.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less.
Have a nice day, unless you already have other plans.
